  • Poor video quality and buffering during movie streaming are usually due to slow Internet connection speed, less than optimal software, and/or a computer or device’s processing speed. If your Internet speed is below the minimum requirement of 1.4 Mbps, streaming will not work optimally.

If your Internet connection is 1 Mbps or above, here are a few recommendations:

    - Make sure you don't have additional programs, web pages, or active downloads.

    - Moving your device closer to your wireless router or switching to a wired connection may help improve poor connectivity.

    - Pause the video a few minutes to allow buffering.

    - If you’re on a laptop that’s using battery power, adjust your battery settings for higher performance.

  • If your video player only shows a blank or black screen on your computer, please confirm that you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed.

If you are still having issues, please contact us.

  • You can prevent notifications from interfering with playback of your movies by adjusting your device settings. Just visit the Notification Center on your iOS device and adjust your individual app settings (i.e.: Calendar). Here, you can set your Alert Style to "Banner" or "None" to prevent it from affecting your video playback.
  • If you delete the Disney Movies Anywhere app, your downloaded movies will also be deleted from your device. These movies can be re-downloaded at a later date if you re-install the app.

Deleting the Disney Movies Anywhere app from your device will not impact the copies of the movies you may have within your participating provider accounts.
  • If you are using Google Chrome on a computer with certain configurations, you may experience an issue caused by your system's cache. Please try the following steps to resolve this issue:

    1. 1. Clear your Adobe Flash Player cache by following these instructions
    2. 2. Disconnect your computer from any external displays
    3. 3. Open your browser cache settings in Chrome by hitting Ctrl + Shift + Delete on your keyboard  (or by following steps 1-3 in these instructions)
    4. 4. Check the box for "Content License"
